After being seated in the venue, my heart sank as I noticed a cardboard box with a tambourine protruding from the lip. Admittedly, I began to panic that the show might be a little bland to say the least. Yes, readers, I am ashamed to say that I almost judged a show by its tambourine! And I would have missed out too. The Ministers of Satan are two devilish misfits who have come to preach the problems with the working class and old people among others, and they have come armed with literature, ready to be distributed at will.
This is a lively and energetic show that’s extremely funny to boot. The Ministers play off each other in a wonderfully energetic manner that’s simply a delight to watch. It’s clear that they’re having fun being here and it’s infectious. However despite being instantly loveable, the duo do have an imposing physicality about them that means that you can never dismiss the thought that they might just be servants of the Dark Lord.
The Ministers of Satan are two comic live wires that shouldn’t be missed this year, so pay them a visit. Make sure that you leave your soul at the door as they cannot be held for any accidental possessions. Enter at your own risk.
