It would be hard to ask for anything more in a festival play that ‘Spooks’ does not provide. A cast of three unfolds a story of mystery, deceit and comedy entwining assassins, MI5 agents, the KGB and travel agents! They bring to life an array of colourful characters in a funny, exciting and seamless performance and end with an entertaining musical number.
The cast makes tremendous use of a small space, which could have easily caused problems. The comic and clever use of voice-overs makes the performance flow at a good and unfaltering pace. This production company shows great potential and is one to look out for in the future. They provide good entertainment for the afternoon and will not disappoint. The reaction of the audience suggests this is not one to be missed.
