This is a guy worth seeing for his beautiful blonde curly hair alone. It is a delight to behold, sculptured into perfection. However, there is much more to this New Zealander than his retro hair. Cameron Blair (originally from Scotland) has a vivid imagination, a flair for music and is a comic for the future.
Cameron’s performance, set in one of the Gilded Balloon’s caves, is intimate and entertaining. He covers a vast array of subject matter from being a Jedi and working with Yoda, to what really happened to The Scooby Doo clan and the state of New Zealand’s military defence. He gives us his own interpretation of Scottish history and his thoughts on Braveheart.
As his experience grows, Cameron Blair will just get better and better though nothing will ever be able to top Yoda’s rendition of “You are my sunshine”. While the audience on the night was rather small, Cameron did a marvellous job of keeping everyone amused, something which can be quite difficult with less people to feed off. Cameron Blair is perfect for that late night slot so please give him the full audiences he deserves.
