The Whoopee Club delivers exactly what it promises – it is a riot of spectacular costume, good music and of course lots of tits and ass! The club presents a diverse collection of acts weaved together with style and humour by host and self-declared ‘seal boy freak’ Matt Fraser.
The show manages to cater for a variety of tastes but it is very clear from the outset that the straight boys were gonna get far more bang for their buck than the rest of the audience.
The show stays true to its burlesque roots, though this means that a few of the acts feel a bit dated and don’t quite work – the Tableaux Vivant in particular is a big disappointment. This is in stark contrast to the majority of the acts, which are brilliantly delivered and will simply blow you away. The climax of the night is undoubtedly Miss Immodestly Blaize with her fan dance and tassel twirling routine that would put Elvira to shame!
While some acts do disappoint slightly, the only truly bad thing about this show is the venue, as the upper level seats have an almost completely obscured view of the stage.
The Whoopee Club has different acts on each night, so your experience will undoubtedly be different. However these boys and girls are pure glamour and talent, so whatever line up you see you will leave feeling well entertained.
