Last year I was treated to this duo under the moniker of Sabotage. This year they have snuck into the programme with a new show and a new name yet their style remains the same.
Essentially, a quick-fire character bonanza, Mark Chavez and Shanoa Allen once again suck the audience in to their surreal and absurdest world. There are a handful of stories that they weave together in a confusing mass of mime and physical comedy, but trust them they know what they are doing and all will become absurdly clear in the end.
It is a real lesson to an otherwise stand-up drenched Fringe, that two men wearing pyjamas and exhibiting a strong imagination can hold an audience with a confidence that leaves me stupefied. These two just go from strength to strength; the more absurd they get the more it seems to make sense. The audience left in a hubbub of excitement and some (myself included) left jaw-aching from smiles and laughter. Just go and see them. I can say no more.
