The fact that you are getting a different show every night will make you want to go back to see the show more than once. Every day there are new performers and a new host, who are ready to dazzle the audience with their wit.
This late night comedy show really does shine as its hosts are the stars of tomorrow such as Rhod Gilbert and Lucy Porter. Every one in this stand up show are true stand up geniuses, and they all get to shine in their 15 minutes on stage!
On Saturday 9th, the show had people like Jamie Kilstein, one of the best American comedy acts that the Fringe has ever seen, who chats about religion and how, in his opinion, it messes with people’s heads. Lee Nelson, aka Simon Brodkin, came on stage playing a ned-ish sketch act which is so brilliantly funny that it will have you laughing for hours after.
Paul Tonkinson lights the spotlight, with his cheeky and hysterical remarks, talking about his wife, kids, and their mundane existence. Highlight of the night is Fiona O’Loughlin, one of the funniest acts that you could ever watch, has the whole room in tears of laughter.
Why wouldn’t you want to go and see a line up if they are as good as this? Granted not every night show will have the best line up or the best host, but it is definitely a must see. Rhod Gilbert, tonight’s host, has people rolling off the edges of their seats with laughter as he pokes fun out of a few audience members at the front and the sides. A must see, and a show to repeat.
