This stunning piece of art should be seen by everyone who has an interest in dance, acting or physical theatre. ‘The Chair’ is a powerful and strong show, with the potential to be performed on a big international stage, and which hopefully, one day, will be! Each character is portrayed to perfection by each one of the performers, and you can see the effort they have all put into their performance, showing pure raw emotion when on stage.
Even though the lead, Nasae Evanson, seems a little stiff with his dance moves and his technique is a little off at times, he really puts a phenomenal performance, and can easily bring a tear to your eye. His presence on stage makes it impossible for you to take your eyes off him, even when Raquel Gaviria appears on stage with her amazing dance skills and gorgeous lines.
Each of the performers of this show including the other two performers, Annie-Lunnette Deakin-Foster and Kimberly Clarke, have such talent that it is not hard to believe that C-12 Dance Theatre are quickly making a name for themselves down in London.
This show is a must see, just for its stunning beauty.
