This is a daft little dark tale about three men, played by comedians, Dan Mckee, Ben Smith and Laurence Tuck who work in a paranormal museum and follows their confused and rambling tale about becoming trapped inside said museum and attempt to escape through a pan-dimensional parallel world, visiting such places as Red Nicholas (a Satanic version of Blue Peter), The Wednesday night project and a land that has something to do with lizards being like Jews. To say these men throw everything into the pot would be an understatement but their enthusiasm while infectious doesn’t quite fulfill its hour run time and the sharp, silly jokes begin to all but dry up as the story moves into a confusing direction involving man having sexual intercourse with a spleen.
When they get it right they wring out some good, cheeky laughs about Michael Jackson and Orson Welles and even manage to throw in a nice gag about Chortle magazine, but even with this nod I doubt Chortle could find some good things to say in return.
