Nik Coppins is proof that the Free Fringe doesn’t have to only apply to first time comedians, for mixed race Nik has traveled the world honing his comedic craft for over eight years and as a result delivers one of the most confident and enjoyable performances at The Laughing Horse. Full of energy with a likeable warm style that has the audience immediately on his side, he discusses some fascinating observations about traveling the world, being a comic book geek, his passion for insects and the different heckles he has had on his travels, some of which are funnier than his stand up. For as enjoyable as Nik is to watch he delivers a set that is high on observations and light on stand out comedy moments, a shame as the audience really do take to Nik and are eager for him to push it up a gear but he never quite gets there.
