This comedy double act are only performing their show for three nights thus entitling it, Three Nights of Jolliness, however the title will need to be altered as the guys are unexpectedly performing for four nights. The performance is unrehearsed, but without batting an eyelid, Mike Manera and Mike Belgrave divide the time between them bring a rough and ready set that is highly entertaining.
Belgrave is the highlight. Scruffy, gruff, rude and casually dismissing his material as he takes advantage of there being a stag-do in and playfully banters with the crowd in his booming voice.
Manera – who bares an uncanny resemblance to all three Top Gear presenters amalgamated into one – isn’t quite as sharp as his friend, relying on tried and tested material about his recent marriage, but does have some thought provoking jokes and effective comedic delivery.
Unrehearsed this may be but the audience would never expect it to be quite the thrill it proves to be. Rough and rude, catch it quick!
