Dr Brown returns this year with an absolutely fantastic show, guaranteed to have you and your children laughing out loud pretty much constantly. For his 2012 Fringe show, Dr Brown has expanded the role of the singing Tiger, which has enhanced and added to what was already a delightful show for young audiences.
Dr Brown and his singing Tiger take the audience on an enthralling journey from breakfast to bed, with everything unimaginable happening in between! Taking full advantage of the packed theatre, the response and inclusion of the children in the audience is what fires this show along. Children are positively encouraged and even required to join in – be it choosing what activity Dr Brown does next, helping put on his boots or even racing up on stage. Adults are not left out of the proceedings either, with a level of audience participation that will keep everyone captivated.
The audience is effortlessly transported through the chaos and calamity which is created by Dr Brown performing everyday activities. Dr Brown and his Tiger are not afraid to embrace the unpredictability of what can happen when inviting children to come on stage with them and this is what makes the show extra special- at moments bizarre, mostly eccentric, this show is an hour very well spent!
With all the noise in the theatre, it is easy to forget Dr Brown is a talented silent performer. This is absurdist, clowning comedy at its best…
